Dr. James Roscoe is the Principal at Grayslake North High School and brings over 25 years of experience in teaching and leadership. He was recently named the Illinois Principal Association Lake County Principal of the Year and was selected as a finalist for the 2019 Illinois Golden Apple Excellence in Leadership award.  James is a national presenter on topics of Disrupting Educational Norms, Student Voice and Engagement, Backwards Curriculum Design and Advanced Placement Programs.  He is passionate about innovative practices that disrupt the educational norm.  James is the co-founder of DisruptionEDU, a consulting group committed to rethinking education.
