This session will address making data part of the ongoing cycle of instructional improvement through formative assessments, getting students to examine their own data/growth, establishing a clear vision for schoolwide data use, and developing and maintaining a districtwide data system. We will address establishing clear learning targets/goals for students, common assessments, how students can track their progress, combined with using nationally normed assessments to help inform instructional decisions and supports.
