While some high school conference focus soley on athletic competition, the West Suburban Conference is committed to enhancing opportunities for all students to lead through Academics, Activities, and Athletics.  Representatives of the conference will share ideas, strategies, and programs that focus on improving student engagement.  Capitalizing on the cultural diversity of the conference schools, a collaborative and suppportive culture of learning has been created that has increased opportunities for students beyond their single school

We will also share ideas for expanding the capacity of building leaders.  Through monthly meetings, the principals of the conference (and their schools), serve as a source of professional development for each other.  Athletic Directors and Activity Directors follow a similar path and a job-alike leadership retreat was created for all building leaders to network and learn from each other.
